I know there was a recent thread on this that got deleted but unfortunatley I didn't get to read it. I only saw the one about its disappearence!
So what were the details on the next possible doll? It seems odd that I haven't heard anything yet. If I remember correctly we had already snooped out a lot of info on Marisol and Jess by this time before their debut... [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

ooh, Rebekkah. Yes I've heard of her. I'm very excited for this doll. I'm really hoping that shes from around 1884 or 1894. I've heard that she will be blonde and I'm crossing my fingers that that won't be true. However if her coloring/look is like AGTs 21 or 24, then I think I will be able to forgive yet another towheaded doll [img]wink.gif[/img]

I wonder if Rebekkah (is that how they are spelling her name?) will be the asian doll we have been waiting for. I can't wait. I asked about them about the next LE but they knew nothing.

Rebecca is rumoured to be a Russian Jew, so probably not Asian. I think her name will be spelled Rebecca, just by looking at the trademarks, Rebekkah hasn't had much movement, but Rebecca has, so it seems they're going forward with that spelling. I think if they release her, and I buy her, I'll change it to Rebekkah.
Though I don't want to start the same arguement that we had over at AGPlaythings, it wouldn't make sense for Rebecca to be blonde. Anyway, thanks to some posts made during that arguement, I now do not think that Rebecca is the next historical doll to be released, and that the actual next one will be blonde, not Rebecca.
And unfortunately, it seems the next LE wont be black, which I was really hoping for [img]frown.gif[/img] . I hope her story is interesting, whatever she looks like. And though I would prefer something more diverse, if she's going to be white I hope she has really red hair (though that seems unlikely only a few months after Emily's release). From looking at the trademarks, Lia is an easy guess for the next LE, which sounds, to me, like a very stereotypical modern Asian name. Spelled Leah (and I'd guess it's the same pronounciation), it could be anything, perhaps they're just giving it a more "modern" spelling?

I was informed by a Jewish friend that blonde hair color among Russian Jews is quite popular. Although it would take some getting used to, like Elizabeth (especially for me) you never know how it could turn out.
My grandparents heard something about an eskimo doll from a girl who went to the outlet.
I just have to say, thank you Shortie for starting this thread up again. I was so bummed I missed the last one, and I LOVE to speculate!
Lia sounds like a pretty name to me, but I'm sad that the next LE won't be AA. I would be happy with an Indian girl, a Middle Eastern girl, or other mixed.

Isn't the name Julie trademarked on the AG website already, though? So maybe she's the next LE. Are we sure she won't be AA? An eskimo doll sounds really cute though!
